Mother Road Market: Reviews & Ratings
Neat place to find something different. We tried Birriamen, hot cheetos sushi, and a fancy Mac & cheese. They were all good. I'm looking forward to going back.
Good - **** Have been here couple of times and the Chicken and Wolf is one of the best stores here. Love their Nashville chicken. If you love spicy chicken, try their “Hot”, otherwise mild/medium would be good if you want to taste the flavor along with heat. Their fries with comeback sauce is the best. The mother road market location is better than the 11th st when we consider the ambience.
Route 66 Mother Road Market Something for every mood. Mother Road Market is Tulsa's first food hall, located on historic Route 66, offering a diverse mix of local food vendors, retail shops, and a full bar. My food selection was Sobahn 82 family-owned restaurant. It is run by Se Yeon Kim and her mother, Chef Sohn, who are continuing a family tradition of cooking Korean food in Tulsa. Sobahn 82 serves Korean and Japanese cuisine. The menu features a variety of traditional Korean dishes, including Korean fried chicken, bibimbap, and ramyeon.
We were excited to try Mother Road Market, but overall our visit fell a bit short of expectations. The atmosphere is fun and the concept is great, but the food this time just wasn’t what we hoped for. The Chick Wolf sandwich was extremely heavy on the cayenne pepper, making it not as flavorful. The taste didn’t really shine through. We also tried the Philly fries from the pizza place, and they weren’t very good. They had run out of bell peppers, which definitely took away from the overall flavor and freshness of the dish. The African spot was another disappointment. We were really looking forward to trying fufu for the first time, but the seasoning and taste were much lighter than expected. We were hoping for richer, bolder flavors.
What more can i say great atmosphere, various options to choose from and it’s definitely a good place to eat with family or a group of friends! I went there because i heard about this 3x champion bbq chef that was doing a pop up, it was chef spriggs, i had the fried rings and wings, it was amazing and the customer service was amazing as well, easy to order, they brought the food to me and everything was a 10/10, mother road had a nice huge patio as well that was definitely a good vibe, next event they have out the next Chef Spriggs pop up I’ll definitely be there
Mother Road Market is such an awesome spot for both tourists and locals here in Tulsa. There’s always a great variety of food, a fun atmosphere, and something new to check out every time you visit. It’s the kind of place you can bring friends from out of town or just swing by on a normal day and still enjoy it. The cake in the picture is a pound cake from one of the local pop-up vendors and it was very good — super fresh and full of flavor. Love how Mother Road Market supports local vendors and keeps things exciting. Definitely a must-visit in Tulsa!
Mother Road Market is hands down one of the best places in Tulsa to take out-of-town visitors, friends, or family—especially when no one can agree on what to eat. The food hall setup makes it so easy: everyone can order from different kitchens, but still sit together at the same table and enjoy a meal. There’s a huge variety of choices, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I’ve been here many times and worked my way through almost every vendor, but some of my personal favorites are Leroux’s, Nick’s BBQ, Zasa’s, Bodhi’s Bowl, SoBahn, and The Big Dipper. And I can’t forget Howdy Burger—the burgers and onion rings are a must! The Takeover Kitchens are an experience too. We love Kinneys Kitchen. But Mother Road Market isn’t just about food. You can also shop while you’re here. The new store, 66 & Sunny Trading Co., is full of the coolest Route 66 and Tulsa souvenirs, made-in-Oklahoma treats, and unique gifts you won’t find anywhere else. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, Mother Road Market is the perfect stop to eat, explore, and shop. A true Tulsa gem!
If you’re in Tulsa and you can’t decide what you want to eat or do, come to Mother Road Market. This Market has almost EVERYTHING you could be craving, hence why me and my boyfriend ordered from 4 different locations! We simply couldn’t pass up the chance to not eat at so many options. We ordered Peanut Soup with Goat Meat and Fufu from the African Delights, a Dead Head Roll from Akira Sushi, the Bibimbap Bowl with Bulgogi from Sobahn 82, and of course two Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders from Chicken and the Wolf. We had a FEAST, and it was all so good. I especially loved the Dead Head Roll and the Chicken Tenders. The Dead Head was so savory, while the Tenders were incredibly spicy! The soup from African Delights was really good with the fufu, but the goat meat itself was a little more disappointing- it was incredibly tough to chew, and not as tender as my boyfriend recalled goat meat tasting(it was my first time trying it, and honestly it just tasted like pot roast from a crockpot but really tough). The bibimbap was good, but not mind-blowing. Still, we were able to experience a wide variety of flavors all in one place, and as foodies, there’s nothing more we could ask for! The bar here is also really good- I definitely recommend the Spicy Margarita.
